Authentication

NotifyAI uses secure OAuth authentication to connect your AI assistant with your NotifyAI account.

This allows your assistant to access only the information necessary to perform actions on your behalf.

Why do I need to sign in?

Authentication lets NotifyAI identify you securely so your AI assistant can:

• Search jobs using your account.
• Access your saved monitors.
• Create new monitors.
• Deliver personalized job recommendations.

Without authentication, your AI assistant cannot interact with your NotifyAI account.

What information is shared?

NotifyAI shares only the information required for MCP functionality.

Examples include:

• Your NotifyAI user identity.
• Your job monitors.
• Your monitor preferences.

What is NOT shared?

NotifyAI does **not** receive:

• Your ChatGPT conversations.
• Files stored in your AI assistant.
• Messages unrelated to NotifyAI.
• Personal information outside your NotifyAI account.

Your AI assistant only receives temporary authorization to access NotifyAI resources.

Is my access secure?

Yes.

NotifyAI uses OAuth 2.0 authorization.

This means:

• Your password is never shared with the AI assistant.
• You approve access before the connection is established.
• You can revoke access at any time.

Need help?

If authentication fails:

• Verify you're signing in with the correct NotifyAI account.
• Ensure your browser allows the OAuth approval window to open.
• Retry the connection process.
